Unfortunately another cancelation post because of the corona measures. The planned Messiah tour led by Johannes Leertouwer is not going to happen. With the current rules it is very hard for the team – actually impossible – to reorganise all events to the afternoon and sell enough tickets.

Hopefully stages will open soon and we will all be able to enjoy live music again without too many rules or fear. Stay safe!

Due to the current measures of the government, the Next Generation Festival in Amare – the new conservatory of the Hague – is canceled. The festival was organized in such a way that the audience could move around and enjoy catering as well. Unfortunately that means it is not possible with the current restrictions. Luckily there will be other concerts next week on the agenda. For more info click here.

Next week on the 26th of September I will perform with these lovely ladies in our Ensemble Salve Eva! We will perform 17th century Italian music and will highlight female composers in our program. The repertoire and ensemble are very close to my heart and I’m looking forward to perform in Helmond. ❤️

Last Sunday I performed with Michela Amici (baroque harp) in the beautiful garden of the Singer Museum in Laren. This was in honor of the 20th anniversary of Stichting Eigen Muziek instrument.

Today was the national commemoration day of the end of world war II in the kingdom of the Netherlands. On this day we commemorate all the people who suffered in the Dutch East Indies. I had the pleasure of singing in this beautiful program with the Amare Vocal Ensemble. If you want to (re)watch the broadcast, click here.

The coming week will be a week of musical diversity. In the NJO Muziekzomer I will perform a Dutch Medieval piece and the 2nd string quartet of Schönberg in one program. I am very excited to perform this challenging repertoire with the Alban Kwartet in Epe, Ede and Arnhem.

This summer I have the honor to sing in this beautiful choir. For me this is a dream come true because of the high level of musicianship and gorgeous repertoire. Part of the tour has happened already last month in July. We sang in the festivals in Saintes and Salzburg. The New York times wrote a review about the Salzburger Festspiele and called the Symphony of Psalms an unpretentious, harmonious reading.
